I made my bed every day this week and in my opinion, it really does make a difference as to how I start my day. I feel more productive and I get more things done. Making my bed sets off a chain reaction of good habits and routines that get me from healthy task to healthy task.

I’m going to try meditation tomorrow morning after I make my bed. I’ve been listening to Tim Ferris’s podcast a lot lately (He’s the author of The Four Hour Workweek. Great book.) Two things that have crept up when listening have been that successful people read books and successful people meditate.

I’m going to just sit tall for 5 minutes in the morning after I make my bed while the dog is outside doing her business. Wanna join me? Here’s all it is:

Beginning guide to meditation

I’m also starting the Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. Because I’m a people, and I want to be highly effective, dammit.

My friend Cary and I are going to read one habit per week and then meet to discuss how we are going to implement that habit in our lives and then meet again to discuss how we implemented that habit and how we are going to implement the NEXT habit. It’s gonna be highly effective.

I’ve also put together my short term and long term goals that I’m trying to keep an eye on. I printed out a list and put it on my refrigerator, just to just keep them in my mind.

Oh yeah, we recorded the movie podcast this morning…so that’s going up tomorrow, but if you are interested in listening to some of the past episodes here’s the link:

If you wanted to see a video of me drinking and complaining about stuff for fun, here’s a link for that:

So that’s my week. I hope you have a great one. Make a goal for this week and then crush it and then tell me about it if you want. I’d love to hear it.

SMOOCHES.

Ben
